Yep...I used one of those paint pinstripers. But I think if I was to do it again I would use the tape that they recommend.
What I did looks pretty good but I think the tape would be cleaner and easier.

I HAVE THE TAPE AFTER TIME IT STARTS TO PEEL , ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE ANY HUMIDITY.

I tried tape before on other tracks and you are right. This is a plastic surface and it might, but I think if you get a "good" pinstripe it should last. I discussed this with them on the phone, which you might want to do. Apparently they use tape on their commercial tracks. Their point was that paint will fad and chip and tape might come off eventually, but it can be removed with a blow drier and redone to look like new a lot easier then paint.
I don't think a good stripe on this surface will be affected by humidity.
Frankly I think either will work well as the track surface is awesome. I actually used an ink that was given to me by a sign shop friend. But anything designed for plastic should work well.
Have fun, I'm sure either way you go will be great!

Well I just took the plunge and ordered a 1000' Slot Cars Inc. track off of Grumpyslots on the bay. By the time it gets here I should have enough money to purchase the DP2000 from Trackmate. Looking forward to getting it and getting things started. Going to have to take my 5x16 3-lane wood oval down first for the summer. Thanks.

Is the company even still around? The site is no longer up. Any further feedback from those that have the tracks?
Matt
