Promos can be really big at Model Car shows, it's not unusually to have as many as 3 vendors all with 50 to 100 Promos for sale. Certain cars can be worth a lot of cash, sometimes color rarity and a popular model can drive up the price. I'm not an expert in Promos, but I think it's a safe bet that a Red Mustang 2+2 is a very collectible car and probably on the high end of value. I'll see a Vendor named Steve Loban at the upcoming Slot Car Show, on April 11. He also does model cars, and Promos. If your friend likes I could inquire about a possibly value in todays market.

Most of these Promo cars were available and sold/given away from the dealer's 1:1 showrooms in the 60's. The bottom had facts about new 1:1 models for that particular year...RM
